Opening in the UK this week is the new climate change film The Age of Stupid. The film is based on the life of a man (Pete Postlethwaite) living alone in 2055 who looks looks back at films from 2008 and wonders why we didn't do anything to stop global warming when we had the chance.
It was bankrolled by what is called "crowd-funding," with shares sold to individuals and groups. U.S. screenings begin with the San Francisco Film Festival in April, with theatric release said to be September.
