Indeed! I was struck by the change of melody of the song that Friedman was singing yesterday morning. But he is not the only one who seems to be standing in the dawn of a new day, saying we're not going to get back to "normal." Frank Rich this morning had a nice column harking back to the values expressed in "Our Town" as being more fundamental to "America" than the unbridled growth we worshipped such just last June.
