I'm pondering what to do with this Typepad "Signs From Earth" blog and my Posterous Signs From Earth Notes blog. Posterous will be shutting down April 30, according to its new master, Twitter.
As you can see, this outpost has been on hiatus. Only so much bandwidth. Besides, Google Analytics was showing that I got maybe a dozen views a day...kind of an echo chamber...So I've since focused on Twitter, where I can say basically the same things I was saying here in 140 charcters...with a lot less time invested.
So maybe I will spiff this one up, try to keep it fresh, maybe shut it down, I don't know. It's all up in the air. Or maybe this will take different forms...already emergent...
In the meantime you can keep track of me over at Twitter @ddimick where I focus on global change, photojournalism and the merging of the two: environmental photojournalism...
...and here at my flickr page which has bio info and links other online existences...

more tk ciao for now...

Why not just throw up a post every 2 months or so to keep it active? I enjoyed your posts, and you are a must-follow on twitter too, since you are so great with Ag. Twitter helps me gather news, but sometimes it also makes my eyes glaze over. A site like this is a bit more personal and dynamic. But, I know you are way overbooked already.
Since I've come at this whole publishing thing as such a novice, I've learned by observing, and I have always been very interested in how you handle things, like photo credits, etc. since you are on top of the publishing game. So, see, you are looked to more than you know!
My 2 cents.
